The Blackberry Will Change It’s Operating System Name

Research In Motion BlackBerry manufacturer was forced to change the name of its new operating system BBX after the company lost a failure of the brand.

The temporary order applies only to a technology conference to be held three days this week in Singapore. However, the decision is a major setback for efforts to use the legal name of RIM. RIM, in a brief statement Tuesday night after the decision has raised the possibility that BBX leave the name of all, having found that only a few months ago.

The sudden re-branding is the latest in a series of setbacks, both big and small, for RIM recently, including the need to restate its financial forecasts for the current quarter, such as discounts on Tablet PC and firing executives two drunk explosions forced the return flight from Toronto to Beijing and led to criminal charges. RIM new economic and more depressed share price battered.

The operating system phone developed by QNX Software Systems, a company based in Ottawa that RIM acquired last year. BBX name seemed to be an attempt to combine the names BlackBerry and QNX.

RIM said the new name is based on the BlackBerry brand established. Colin Gillis BGC, a financial analyst called forced change another faux pas by RIM.

The new name follows the traditional practice of appointing the RIM operating systems to use the figures. The operating system will replace the Blackberry 7.
